ATLASCAR
The ATLASCAR is a prototype for research on Advanced Driver's Assistance Systems. It is a Ford Escort model equipped with several sensors that enable the vehicle to perceive the road around it.
As said, the vehicle is equipped with several state of the art sensors. Lasers, Stereo Cameras, IMU, GPS, etc. A more detailed description of the sensors here. The vehilce has suffered a major intervention at hardware level. Follow this link for details. Several algorithms have been developed and published for autonomous driving advanced perception.
